Cookie Policy

How ClickPattern uses cookies and similar technologies on this website and the ClickPattern application.

Last Updated: 28th May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies ClickPattern uses, why we use them, the third-party processors involved, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

1. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary — authentication & session

When you sign in to the ClickPattern application, we set session cookies and tokens that keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, and route your requests to the correct workspace. These cookies are required for the application to function and cannot be turned off.

Strictly necessary — billing & checkout

When you subscribe to a paid plan or update payment details, our checkout is hosted by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies on the checkout pages to process the payment, detect fraud, and remember your card on file. These cookies are required for payments to complete.

Functional — preferences

We store small amounts of data in your browser (cookies and local storage) to remember preferences such as your selected workspace, table column order, theme (light/dark), and currency. Clearing these will reset your preferences but will not log you out.

Analytics — site usage

On this marketing website (clickpattern.com), we use Google Tag Manager to load analytics that help us understand which pages and content are useful so we can improve them. The data is aggregated and we do not use it to build advertising profiles about you on third-party sites.

2. Third-party processors

The following processors may set cookies in your browser when you use ClickPattern. Each operates under its own privacy notice:

  • Google Cloud Identity Platform — authentication tokens and session management for the ClickPattern application (app.clickpattern.com).
  • Stripe, Inc. — checkout, payment processing, and fraud prevention on billing pages.
  • Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics — aggregated traffic measurement on this marketing site (clickpattern.com).
  • Google Cloud Platform (CDN/load balancer) — short-lived cookies used to route requests and protect the service.

3. How to control or opt out

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or delete cookies after each session. Helpful links:

If you disable strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the ClickPattern application or complete a payment. Disabling analytics cookies on the marketing site will not affect your ability to use the product.

To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
